Our Pastor

Nathan L. Horton

Nathan Lovell Horton was born to the late Howard and Erana Horton in Winston Salem, NC.  He is the oldest of three children and has one son.

Elder Horton was saved and received the Holy Ghost during a revival in 1985 under the late Elder David Powell at Gospel Tabernacle Church of God in Christ in Covington, VA.  He accepted his call to the ministry sometime later after being asked to speak at a church service.

Due to Elder Horton’s call to evangelism, he retired early from Circa Copyright Company in Greensboro, N.C., as a floor manager to do full time ministry.  He has been traveling and evangelizing for over twenty years; his message is “Restoring the old land mark in holiness, righteousness and sanctification.”

In October of 2011, Elder Horton was invited to preach at Tabernacle of Praise, Church of God In Christ in Louisville, Ky.  It was there that he met his wife Beverly Ann.  The two were married in May of 2012, and as a result Elder Horton relocated to Louisville, Ky.

After much fasting and praying and hearing the voice of the Lord, Elder Nathan Horton stepped out on faith to do a new work for the Lord and has planted God a church where people can come and be saved, delivered, uplifted and to know that God loves them.

Pastor Horton and his wife Beverly are excited about this new journey that the Lord has taken them on. The first service was held on June 7, 2015 and the Lord blessed tremendously and set His approval upon the ministry.

They have planted and are now watering and waiting on God for increase, for the Bible says,” So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.”  I Corinthians 3:7

Pastor Horton is humbled and grateful that God thought enough of him and saw something in him; insomuch that He chose him for this task.  Jeremiah 3:15 says, “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”

To God be the glory for the things He has done!
